Doug Jones, the Founder and Creator of TheBestWayToExercise.com, has used his professional expertise, as well as the experience gained through his personal health and fitness challenges, to design a membership-based fitness "one stop shop" that allows each member to get the most effective training results in the least amount of time.

Doug founded Stand Firm Fitness in 1994 to provide in-home personal training. In response to growing demand for his services, he gradually grew from his garage, to a 1,000 SF training studio, to 2,000 SF, then finally to a nearly 18,000 SF facility in Wilton, CT, becoming one of the largest personal fitness centers in the Northeast. Today, with his online presence, members from around the world benefit from Doug's extensive qualifications and experience.

I want to help you achieve your desired and potential level of fitness with minimal time investment.  As a husband, father of four, and business owner, I realize there are many priorities in our lives that are more important than exercise.  Therefore, I will continually strive to teach you how to allocate the least possible amount of time toward exercise while simultaneously achieving the best results.  My goal is to encourage you to develop optimal levels of health and fitness while maintaining your focus on the many other important aspects of your life.
